The Constrained Body takes reference to the history of torture and punishment manifests human’s contemplation of freedom and liberation. By adopting the very solid and voided materials (steel and light / shadow) I attempt to investigate the duality of the constrained and the freed in connection to the “present” and “absent” of the body.
